Gonzaga Bulldogs vs. Indiana-Purdue-Fort Wayne Mastadons (IPFW)

Friday, November 20 - 6 p.m. PST
McCarthey Athletic Center

What 2 Watch 4:

1) Bench Players: Few used an 8 man rotation against Michigan State, favoring Olynyk as a backup at the 3/4, Foster as the backup down low, and GJ as a backup to Meech. Manny and Poling saw very limited playing time and Gibbs did not even get off the bench. Look for Few to get all of the bench players more time today as they attempt to earn the right to more playing time in Maui. Also, we are still waiting to see Bol Kong play his first game for GU, but we are hearing that he will likely remain in street clothes today.

2) GJ v. Meech: After the Michigan State game, some fans believed that GJ should get more playing time than Meech. While we were impressed by the play of GJ (hard to believe he is only a freshman with the poise he displayed in his first big college game), Meech also played hard all game against one of the best PGs in the nation. Look for Meech to break out of his scoring slump and re-establish himself as the clear cut starting pg.

3) Gray: Steven Gray is a great shooter, and GU will need him to play like one in big games in March. However, in order to get ready for March, Gray needs to start making 3's in bunches to get his confidence up. We would like to see him hit at least 5 threes today.
